Howdy, folks! My name is Morgan, and contrary to my fellow Inksters, my journey to literature was less direct, all encompassing, or passionate. Until it wasn’t. I read sporadically, though diligently, in my adolescence, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I developed a fierce love for books. That said, my soul has always recognized an infatuation with storytelling, narrative, and the profound way that stories can change how we view the world, or how our hearts can become paralyzed when a single line brings an entire story into perspective. I’ve always considered myself a romantic, and hopeless at that. But life has taught me that romanticism is more than a few eloquent lines of profession, it’s showing up for love everyday — even if that means for yourself. These are things I hope to tether my future stories to. Stories I am not sure I would have ever had the courage to pick up and dust off, if not for my fateful crossing of paths with my now dear friend Tess a few years ago. Right now, I am studying history with a concentration in the Middle East, reviving my love for all things equestrian, and pursuing new adventures to feed my ceaseless desire to see the world.

A few favorites, without thinking about it too much: Persuasion, Born to Run, and… I am currently reading Babel which is proving to be a mighty and brilliant piece of art that addresses so many of our world’s transcendent themes always requiring attention.

My current project is in the early stages of development, but it is an amalgamation of my love for stories that transcend time, as well as different realities, and will hopefully invite readers into a world of camouflaged darkness, resilience, trust, and forgiveness.
